Coaches will contact all players once team rosters and season details are finalized in Feb or March.

Practices will start in late March or early April

U9 - 14 MAYSA games will fall between April 15th to June 15th

U7/U8 Mazo League will start in April

If you have not familiarized yourself with the new Playmetrics system and downloaded the App to your phone, please do so to simplify coach communication with the team. Many coaches use the app as the sole way to communicate with team members and parents.

RVSA’s RECREATIONAL program is for those born in 2006 and after (up through High School - Boys).

Here is the US Youth Soccer birth year guideline grid used for team placement.

 

U6 (INTRO TO SOCCER)

Practices in Spring Green with scrimmages during practice. This is an introduction to soccer, with weekly practices but no games. This group is for our youngest players, typically between the ages of 4 and 7 (pre-school – 1st grade), who have limited or no soccer experience.

U8 Teams

WHSC - (Wisconsin Heights Soccer Club, in Mazomanie) Practice time and days are determined by coach – 1 or 2 afternoon/evenings a week. Games are played on Saturday mornings with the Wisconsin Heights Soccer Association in Mazomanie.

U9 - U14 Teams

MAYSA league teams play four home games in Spring Green and four away games somewhere in the greater Madison area. Players will be placed into teams based on the US Youth Soccer birth year guideline linked above and here, however adjustments may need to be made to ensure proper team sizes, subject to MAYSA approval. Practice time and days are determined by the coach, 2 - 3 evenings a week.  Games are played on our home field or up to an hour and a half drive away, usually on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
